序論


Nagiosの定義の特徴の1つは、他のオブジェクト定義からその特性を引き継ぐオブジェクト定義を作成できるということです。 ここでオブジェクトの継承がどう働くかに関する説明を見つけることができます。 あなたがあなた自身オブジェクトの継承に一度慣れるために以下のドキュメント全体を読む事を薦めます。これによってオブジェクト定義を作ったり保守したりすることがずっと楽になります。 また、オブジェクト・トリックを読むことで退屈な設定を短縮することができます。

設定ファイルを作ったり編集したりするときは、以下の事に気をつけてください:

  1. '#'キャラクタから始まる行は、コメントになり、処理されません。
  2. 名前は大文字と小文字を区別しています。

注意事項


幾つかのホスト、サービス、連絡先の設定定義を変えてもNagiosがそれを使わない事がある事を指摘するのは重要です。 この動作を示すことができるオブジェクト指示が、アスタリスク(*)でマークされます。 この動作はNagiosが 設定ファイルに定義された状態維持ファイルに保存ざれた情報を使うこと(状態維持機能を使う場合)で起こります。プログラム全体にわたる状態の維持を指定し、Nagios実行中、指示された値が外部コマンドで変更された場合です。

この問題を避ける1つの方法は、retain_nonstatus_information によって非状態情報の維持を行わないようにすることです。この指示はホスト、サービス、および連絡先の定義にあります。 この指示を無効にすると状態維持ファイルからの状態を使うのではなく設定ファイルの初期値を使います。

指示 記述:

host_name: ホストを指定する略称を定義します。 これはホスト・グループやサービス・グループ定義中で使われ、特定のホストを参照するのに使われます。 ホストはそれらに属する多くのサービス(監視される)を持つことができます。 正しく使うと $HOSTNAME$ マクロに この略称が入ります。
alias: この指示は、ホスト長い名前や内容の記述定義を指定するのに使われます。 これは簡単に特定のホストを指定する機能を提供します。 適切に使われると、$HOSTALIAS$ マクロはこの別名/記述を持っています。

retry_interval: This directive is used to define the number of "time units" to wait before scheduling a re-check of the hosts. この指示は、次のホスト再チェックを行うまでの時間間隔を”時間単位”で指定します。 Hosts are rescheduled at the retry interval when they have changed to a non-UP state. obsess_over_host * : This directive determines whether or not checks for the host will be "obsessed" over using the ochp_command. この指示は、ホストのチェックに"obbessed(取り付く)"ochp_command を使用するのか否かを指定します。
check_freshness * : This directive is used to determine whether or not freshness checks are enabled for this host. この指示は、新鮮さチェックをこのホストのために可能にするかどうか決定するのに使用されます。 Values: 値: 0 = disable freshness checks, 1 = enable freshness checks. 0 = 新鮮さチェックを無効にして、1=は新鮮さチェックを可能にします。

process_perf_data * : This directive is used to determine whether or not the processing of performance data is enabled for this host. この指示は、性能データの処理をこのホストに可能にするかどうか指定するのに使用されます。 Values: 値: 0 = disable performance data processing, 1 = enable performance data processing. 0 = 性能データ処理を無効にします。1=は性能データ処理を可能にします。

retain_nonstatus_information: This directive is used to determine whether or not non-status information about the host is retained across program restarts. この指示は、ホストのnon-state情報をプログラム再起動の後も保持するどう決めるのに使用されます。 This is only useful if you have enabled state retention using the retain_state_information directive. retain_state_infomation 指示を使ってこれを可能にした場合だけ有効です。 Value: 値: 0 = disable non-status information retention, 1 = enable non-status information retention. 0 = 非状態情報保持を無効にします。1=は非状態情報保有を可能にします。
